It is always an honour to work with the UK’s most senior, active Judo red belt, Steve Makin BCAe. Requiring personal branding to help with his personal training business, I wanted to incorporate Steve’s martial arts background, but also create a completely new, separate look that is more geared towards strength and fitness training. Using sharp black graphics contrasting with an energetic, almost electric yellow that immediately identifies with personal training yet unique, allowing it to stand out in a crowd whilst also drawing inspiration from the martial arts.
