“MC YOYO” aka “UFYO” aka “Yolanda Ribas” is an entity that is hard to pin down and describe. Alien, MC, Singer/Songwriter, Ninja, Artist, Yolanda commissioned me with the almost impossible task of creating a visual representation that works across all of her platforms as a sort of brand identity. Taking strong direction from the artist herself, my main goal was to create an illustration that incorporated all aspects of the artists identity but arranged it in a way that is still very readable, symbolic and also captures her likeness.
